When a business is not doing so well, one often finds that many of its employees are performing at sub standard levels. A lot of the staff do only what they\u2019re told to do, nothing more. Just above the bare minimum. Enough to stay out of trouble. And generally speaking, one tends to find that there\u2019s very little enthusiasm for work amoungst these employees.<\/p>\n

These average performance levels are certainly not enough to get your business out of its current situation and to the next level. To be better than the competition and to increase profit levels substantially.<\/p>\n

How to Increase Employee Enthusiasm<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The question is how does a business get its employees to perform better? To be enthusiastic<\/a> about their jobs? To be PASSIONATE<\/strong> about what they do?<\/p>\n

\"Employee<\/p>\n

When person puts \u2018more energy<\/strong> into their work than required\u2019, that\u2019s being passionate<\/span>. However, for a person to ever become passionate about their job, they have to find their passion. It\u2019s up to you, as business owner or senior manager, to get your employees to find that passion.<\/p>\n

Methods to Use<\/h3>\n

Unfortunately there isn’t just ONE quick-fix method to get employees enthusiastic about their jobs. Many factors play a part. Even so, as a leader and business owner there are some things you can do to start turning the passion on amoungst your employees:<\/p>\n

  1. Your Passion<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Firstly, find your own<\/u> passion and then lead by example. If you are running or managing a business and you are not passionate about it, then find some aspects about the business that you are truly excited about. Concentrate on those aspects. Let other people handle the other areas that you are not so passionate about. In other words, delegate or outsource this work. And show your passion in the work you enjoy doing. Employee enthusiasm will also increase as a result<\/p>\n

    1. Recognition<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Secondly, give your employees recognition<\/u><\/strong> for things they do well. Not just some of the time, but all the time. <\/strong>When it\u2019s deserved! It must become a habit of yours and it must be genuine. This will start making them feel special and want to do things well. It will help them start feeling enthusiastic about what they do\u2026and that\u2019s the start to being passionate! It doesn’t have to be public recognition every time, just a quiet “well done, that was very good work”<\/em> will often do, or something like that. The change in their attitudes will amaze you.<\/p>\n
